Editorial policy
Eastern Culture Guide aims to make cultural subjects clear without flattening their complexity. Our editorial choices favour context, careful wording and a visible distinction between what is established and what is interpretation.
Accuracy and context
We check names, dates, terminology and factual claims against suitable published material before publication. Cultural descriptions are framed with attention to place, period and variation; we avoid treating a community or tradition as uniform. When evidence is uncertain or interpretations differ, the wording should say so rather than imply certainty.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for reader value, not to satisfy a partner. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and we do not present paid placements as independent recommendations.
Corrections and illustrations
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted, making significant corrections clear in context. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an image is illustrative rather than documentary, it should not be mistaken for evidence of a real object, event or place.
